I’m pretty sure we simply didn’t get your message, because I’d definitely answer your question. Tumblr is a bitch sometimes, when it comes to messages ;)
Anyway, you can get that glossy look by using topaz clean - it’s a photoshop plugin. You can find some download links even here, on tumblr, just go through ‘topaz clean’ tag and I’m sure you’ll find something. When it comes to tips… I honestly don’t have any, beside one - practice, practice and again, practice. The best possible way to get better in photoshop is simply messing around in it :)
